How do I form an LLC in New York?

Hello, I would like to file for an LLC, where do I go to do that in NY? Specifically I live in Endicott, NY if that helps. THanks
Good stuff, is there any way to check if a name is taken before the application, or just the mail in 5 dollars route?

What do I need to do to form an LLC in Nebraska while living in Illinois?

I am starting my own online web design business and live in Illinois. I also have family in Nebraska. Since the cost of forming an LLC in Illinois is fairly high I was thinking of forming it in Nebraska. My issue is I don’t know if that will really work out in my benefit. I would use my family as the Registered Agent so that would be taken care of. Does anyone know what issues I might run into? Any tax issues with forming an LLC in another state? Any insight would be appreciated.

Can you form a llc without an attorney?

I want to work for a company that will only contract with a corporation. I’d like to be an llc or limited liability corporation. Can I simply fill out a form and pay state fees? Or, do I have to have an attorney do so?

How do I form an LLC in Bexar County Texas?

I’ve filed for DBAs in California at the county recorders office. I’m now in texas and would like to file a different business under an LLC. I’ve used legal zoom in the past but stopped after I realized its a simple search and paperwork down at the county recorders. I have not, however, filed for LLC. I’m having trouble finding the necessary forms for an LLC and trade name on bexar county’s website.

Any help?
Thanks!

I’ve seen several sites online offering this service, but I thought I’d ask if anyone knows the cheapest and most efficient way to form a Limited Liability Company (LLC).

How do you form an LLC to buy Real Estate?

I know you need a lawyer. But what are the possible terms of the LLC? I have heard of one person who created a book selling business to buy a couple of properties, but never actually sold books. He is a book collector and he had the purchase receipts in case of an audit, but he wasn’t actually making an effort to sell books.

I want to buy RE through an LLC but I don’t want to pretend to be doing something I’m not. Can’t RE investment be the actual purpose of the company? I’ll take suggestions of books and resources as well as any advice.

If I form an LLC now, can I gain the tax benefits retroactively for all of 2008?

I have a sole proprietorship. I now realize I should have formed an LLC this year for tax shelter, but the year’s almost up. If I form an LLC before the end of the year, is there any way to make it retroactive as far as the IRS is concerned?

I am trying to move a Delware C corp to an LLC via IRS 8832 form?

The C corp is about 10 years old and holds a house in france with commercial activity. We need to put in an LLC form for French purposes, will this incur any IRS tax penalities?

Is there another way to move into a nominee corp without incurring apreciation on the underlying asset?? Thx
