My daughter lives with her father and she really wants to leave. He doesn’t provide for her and doesn’t take care of her. ie. taking her to the dr. or dentist…
She is now having extreem difficulties in school, mostly due to him not providing her with new clothing and supplies. I have contributed to her new schoool stuff but only half to see if he would provide the rest.
She wants to leave his home and live with me (2 hrs away). I want her to be with me, but have no extra money for a lawyer, but will get it if I have to. I just want to know what I can do immediately, given her age.
I have let things go for a while because I think her education would be better where she is, but it’s not so important that I’m willing to let him continue to neglect her. I will do whatever I need to do at this point.

I agreed to cosign for my brother to receive a phone with t mobile. Well I received a notice from a collections agency for t mobile, not for one phone but two phones saying i owed $. The second page is suppose to be a copy of a service agreement. Well i look to the bottom and under customer someone has signed my name for me! It clearly is the Guarantor’s ( I guessing the customer rep at the kiosk) signature because not only did he have to sign it but he also had to put a copy his own credit card on the page because my brother didn’t have a credit card and i was over the phone. WTF. Is this even legal? I just wanted to know is it legal to sign someone else’s name without asking or even telling them that you are?

i am on a month to month paying 550 for a room in california it included utilities. Now that the economy went down hill i have to pay that 550 plus extra for utilities. i never resigned an agreement to pay more and if i did wouldn’t my original total be different, subtract what i used to pay for utilities and then add on the new total for utilities? thanks for the help

I am curious as to whether or not you can get in legal trouble for breaking a terms of service agreement (or nondiscolusure agreement). I am mostly talking about the agreements you agree to when you sign up for beta tests or play online video games.

For instance, could somebody using hacks in CounterStrike or Everquest have anything happen to them other than getting their account suspended? I’m almost sure that nobody has ever been brought to court over such a case mainly because it isn’t worth the time or effort – but is it possible?

My wife is having here lawyer put together a separation agreement and she says that you cannot put a time limit on it. I wanted a one year time limit to force here to make a decision in a year. What can I do? Without a time limit if in one year she wants to remain separated then I am the one who must file for divirce even through she wants out. Need answers Thank You

Last year we signed an offer to purchase real estate agreement in Indiana. It was my father in-laws house. Then a few days before closing my wife and her dad had a huge fight. Lot’s of name calling, on his part so my wife decided we were not going to buy the house so we walked away. There was only $1.00 of earnest money. However, the Default and Forfeiture statement in the contract says. “If this offer is accepted by the seller and the buyer without legal cause fails and refuses to carry out this agreement, buyer shall forfeit all earnest money and seller shall be entitled to recover its damages incurred as a result of buyer’s breach together with attorney’s fees and costs necessary for the enforcement of this agreement.” Now he says he wants to sue us for breach of contract. So again, my question would be what do they mean by legal cause for breaking the contract? If he never got the survey done, which it states in the agreement, is that legal cause? Is the name calling legal cause?

i signed a legal agreement with a bpo(slash support) to work for 8 months for them. r such agreements valid. tell a way to break it as i got a better opening now. i cannot tell the issue to them. its since one month i joined it
