If a power of attorney takes documents to a notary and says I verify that signature but the person whose name is on the document is not present can the notary notarize it? Have been told to different answers to this .! yes as long as the notary knows the P.O.A. 2. yes because the P.O.A. verifys it and its an acknowldgement so even if the person isn’t present thats ok.
This would be under Wisconsin Law.
Is there a legal document for me and someone that I let borrow $$$ to sign? All in good standings (of course), and If there isnt, please give me some suggestions. Thanks
Thanks to the one and only answer to my question. And I check it out on Monday morning.
We recently separated and a lot of my gear is still at the family home. I want to move to another country and require my passport and other personal documents.
Am I entitled to get these or can she hold them till the divorce comes through?
My 18 year ond daughter was told that she owes money for a lost item in our local volunteer fire department, with her not knowing the laws the department officals told her she had to sign a paper for repayment. We were told that she is still considered a minor and that the document is not legal. I need to find a law for New York State stating this.
