Prenup for a common law relationship?

Can a prenup be legal for a commonlaw relationship? And if so can it just be an agreement signed by both of us, or signed by both of us and a witness, or should I ask a lawyer to do one?

Would it be able to be enforced if it wasn’t done by a lawyer?

How can you prove cohabitation?

In an alimony case where the recieving ex is living with a man and still collecting the money. We do not have enough money for a PI, and if we stake out the house she will call the police and say we are staulking.
Thank you for your sugestion! That neighborhood is really small with a lot of busy bodies, I don’t think we could get away with that. But, thanks anyway.

Legal paid in full agreement?

I’m repaying a loan in full. I need to know what I need the other person to write out saying that this is paid in full, so the person can never try to come after me again for money. Just give me an example.

I have a legal contract/agreement that I think the other party broke?

I have a contract with a graphic arts company that says they were supposed to finish the work within 4-6 weeks for a logo, media kit and website. It has been nearly 2 months and I barely have the logo done. This company lags on everything, when I know they are capable of much better. I paid half and am yet to pay the other half, which I definitely don’t think I owe. Am I entitled to sue back for my money if they went over the 4-6 weeks. I am losing money by not having my website complete!
This is what the agreement says: Timeline
This project will be completed 4-6 weeksfrom the date of receipt of all final content. All content mustbe forwarded in (1) clearly formatted, copy edited document. All database or other content (as necessary) to be organized and forwarded in a format to be determined, prior to project start. Project will not begin until all final documentation is received in the approved format.

How does a recession and depression effect the possibility leasing a home?

A trusted financial adviser friend of ours says he and several of his colleagues expect the economy be in recession for at least another year and then possibly a depression for ten years. Given this scenario, would the price of leasing a home increase or decrease, and at which point?
So in a market slump is it better to own a home or lease?

I got an email from an “online co-ordinator” of “Yahoo/MSN Lottery Incorporation” in London to collect a winning of 350 English Pounds and to contact “Nationwide Bank of London”, the paying Bank. Is this legitimate or fraudulent?

Can a quit claim deed help in my situation?

Two and a half years ago a family member convinced my husband and I to “take over payments” on their house.Family arguements have us concerned that we don’t really have any claim on this property. Now we would like to get it in our name. A finance company said that they do not usually finance such small amount only owe for about 5 1/2 years. (Would hate to get it so close to paid and family member tell us “Thank You, Bye Bye!” ) Do not have a lot of money to work with. They recommended a quit claim deed and then financing in our own name. If I can get family member to sign quit claim, will the current mortgage company have a problem with this? They get a check from ME each month! A little confused about options and how real etate works. I would really appreciate any advice (besides my Mom’s “don’t do business with family”)! Thanks so much in advance!

I need a legal separation agreement for up to one year before I can be granted a divorce, according to NY law.?

I started completing a divorce packet, however, the grounds for my divorce are not listed. After researching, I became aware that I must submit a separation agreement before I proceed with the divorce. I haven’t been able to locate a “free” sample online or maybe I’m not looking in the right place. I am currently out of work and cannot afford to have an attorney, I am looking for a template that I can go ahead and complete. The terms are for two minor children and to waive any other distribution or property rights. Can anyone help me?
