I am in the process of buying out my brother through a quit-claim deed. Just curious as to how I can get out of re-assessing my property taxes.
The house was purchased in 1999, so the value is substantially less than it is now.

What is the big difference between a Real Estate Company leasing a commercial property versus a property management company? It seems like its the same leasing idea (and contract?) but maybe with different tasks AFTER the lease is signed? Are the leasing fees/commissions usually the same? I guess I am trying to figure out why someone would go through a management company versus a real estate company or what really makes the difference?

How does one legally terminate a living trust that contains property that is land-locked and can’t be sold?
Four years ago my Dad died and left his assets to 6 children through a trust in the state of ARkansas. The majority of assets were distributed the first 2 years. One piece of land remains that is seemingly land-locked–the adjacent neighbor will not allow access, and none of us can found the legal access road to the land. Our attorney will not help…it seems he just wants to continue to draw out this trust. My sister, the trustee, lives 350 miles away, and chooses to do nothing…HOW CAN WE GET THIS TRUST FINISHED? I am concerned that 10 years from now I will be paying attorney fees to pay the property taxes on this land.
Please give me a direction to get started.
How do I enter a property rental partnership fairly?

How does remodeling work when looking at leasing a property?
Looking to open a bar and was wondering how this works….If I am looking at leasing a property can I remodel the inside or outside of the property to reflect its theme, etc?
How transfer property title from deceased parents to daughter per Revocable Living Trust w/out probate?
There is no will. There is only the Revocable Living Trust and the Grant Deed left by parents.
Can this transaction be done without an attorney and without going to probate?
Can we go to the local court house or hall of records to do this transaction?
The Revocable Living Trust Agreement was drawn and notarized in 2005, but not recorded on property title. Deceased parents are joint owners of property. They died 11/06 & 3/07.
Revoc. Living Trust states “After the death of both grantors (parents), the successor trustee (son) shall distribute the trust estate to the following who shall survive both grantors: “named property” bequest and given to daughter.”
Successor Trustee is son.
Daughter also has power of attorney for parents.
No outstanding debt remains in their names.
No other heirs will contest this Revocable Living Trust.
